General

Your use of and purchase of products from this site is governed by the terms and conditions set out below, and as set out under Security, Copyright, and Delivery. We recommend you also read our Privacy Policy. You can print the full terms and conditions by selecting the print option in the File menu of your browser.

We may at any time make changes to this site and the details displayed on it (including prices).

Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Prices and Payment

(Please note, we currently offer some goods priced to include all delivery charges so some points below will not apply.)

The prices for goods displayed for sale on this site are as set out on the site and are inclusive of VAT. Delivery will be charged in addition, and any such additional charges are clearly displayed in the checkout stage where they apply. Prices and delivery charges displayed are valid and effective only in the United Kingdom.

W Crowder and Sons Ltd cannot accept your order until you have paid for it in full (including applicable delivery charges). Upon payment, we will confirm acceptance of your order by e-mail which will be sent to the e-mail address you provide on your order details. Whether or not you receive the e-mail, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.

 

2. Your Right to Cancel your Order

You may cancel your order at any stage before the goods are delivered to you.

If you wish to cancel your order you can either phone us on 01522 525000 or email us by using the contact us link (*excluding made to order products).

In some cases we may be unable to prevent your order from being dispatched to you. In this case we will arrange for your order to be collected at your convenience (see our returns and refunds policy).

3. Our returns and refunds policy

If you are not satisfied with the order you have received from W Crowder and Sons Ltd you may return it to us within 28 days of delivery (*exclusions apply). We will exchange or refund any unused items returned to us, as sold in their original condition, with the Sales Invoice received with your order.

Exchange and Refunds

If your goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged on delivery we will exchange the product or issue a full refund to you.

If you are not satisfied with the goods for any other reason we will exchange or refund any unused items as sold, in their original saleable packaging, a re-stocking fee of 5.00gbp may be charged per item. The collection of the goods will be arranged through our nominated delivery carrier and the cost of return will be at your expense.

Refunds will be paid within 30 days of receipt of the returned order.

*Exclusions: excludes products made to specific requirements. This does not affect your statutory rights.

How To Return Items:
Call us on 01507 525000 and we will arrange for the collection of the unwanted goods.
Calls are charged at national rate.

Undelivered items:

Our nominated couriers will try to deliver goods to the address provided. Once the goods have been dispatched we cannot change delivery addresses.

If the courier is unable to deliver the goods within a reasonable period, the goods will be returned to us and the fees for re-delivery and redirection will be charged to the Card that was used to order the goods.

If a customer arranges re-delivery either to the same address or to another address with the courier, any costs incurred will be charged to the customer's card that was used to order the goods.

4. General

We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reason of acts of God, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government, imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within the reasonable control of W Crowder and Sons Ltd.

We do not accept orders to addresses that are outside our normal couriers price band. If extra costs are incurred from our couriers over and above our standard rate they shall be charged to the customer.

If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.

We cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of products shown on this site exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colours of the physical products themselves. All sizes quoted are approximate.

Before working with electricity, gas or water you should always consult an appropriate professional electrician or CORGI registered plumber. Always read and follow any relevant manuals and safety instructions. When working with electricity always turn off the mains. In connection with building work, W Crowder and Sons Ltd cannot advise on planning permission or building regulation issues.

To the extent permitted by law, W Crowder and Sons Ltd accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising as a consequence of the advice provided.

These terms and conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.

In these terms and conditions:-

"We and Us" means W Crowder and Sons Ltd either alone or together with you, as the context requires;

"Working day" means every day of the year except weekends, and English statutory and public holidays;

"You" means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions;

SECURITY

W Crowder and Sons Ltd understand that you may have concerns about security on the internet. Our site uses a secure server that implements secure sockets layer (SSL) technology in our on-line ordering process to protect your payment card information. Every transaction we process is also checked by our fraud control systems to validate the authenticity and validity of your payment card as well as indicators of possible fraudulent use. In the unlikely event of fraudulent or unauthorised use of your payment card by someone else to purchase goods from us on our server we will refund to you any money received by us as a result but only if you have notified your payment card issuer and us (either by telephoning 01507 525000 (national rate) or by contacting us on line through Contact us) as soon as you became aware of the unauthorised use of your card.

COPYRIGHT AND USE OF IMAGES

All website and materials on any site belonging to W Crowder and Sons Ltd are subject to copyright and will be enforced where theft of images and copyright infringement has taken place. All images are used purely for use as a visual aid and should not be used to detail specification of products or services offered. All items offered are subject to change without notice and images may not represent the actual colour or sizes etc offered.

 

Ordering Safely With W Crowder and Sons Ltd

Once you have completed the selection of products you wish to purchase you may proceed to place an order. As soon as you click "continue with order" your browser will go into secure mode. Data relating to your order and your personal and payment card details will all pass to our server in an encrypted format. As soon as you have finished ordering you will exit secure mode.

We recommend that you do not communicate your payment card details to anyone, including us, by e-mail. We cannot be responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by internet link or by e-mail. Any such loss shall not be borne either wholly or partly by us, and shall be entirely your responsibility.
