Muck, dirt, soil or compost, we don't mind what you call it, but they are not all the same. Some people swear by horse manure and others by mushroom compost, some even like to mix their own! We can help you decide which is the best to use, where and when. During the war years many of today's composts were not available so gardeners used the best of what they could, many of these traditions have stuck, but we promise, used correctly the modern composts are far superior to anything the local farmer is giving away and will help you to grow perfect plants, fruit and vegetables.
Gravels
Our grits and gravels come in very handy around the garden from pea gravel for the driveway to the trendiest slate scree for that modern look.
